Mr. Ioannides has extensive experience in corporate law, financial regulation, and strategic management. He holds a law degree from the United Kingdom and has been a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 1998. He began his career as a co-founder of LLPO Law Firm, where he focused on financial, banking, and administrative law. From 2013 to 2018, he served as the Managing Partner of LLPO Law Firm in Cyprus.
In the financial services sector, Mr. Ioannides served as a member of the Board of Directors of GMM Global Money Managers Ltd from 2013 to 2017. In 2018, he led the establishment of GMM Global Money Managers AIFM Ltd, an Alternative Investment Fund Manager, serving as Chairman of its Board, Executive Committee, and Investment Committee until June 2023. Since February 2024, he has acted as the Chief Strategy Officer of GMM AIFM. Additionally, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (CYTA) from August 2021 to January 2024 and has held board positions at the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (Invest Cyprus) and the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA).
